These are just a few of the great things God is doing down here in Cuenca , Ecuador! Let me explain
just some of them!

New Souls Written in The Lamb’s Book Of Life: We are so glad that we have been able to
continue to see our friends come to know Christ as their Savior! Tears well up in our eyes when we
recount what God has done. Our dear friend Sylvia-Sonia’s schoolmate since junior high-and her
family have become very close to us. As you may have read in our email update from Sept. 23rd, she
asked Christ into her heart at our retreat. My friend Fernando Torres was here last night and
confirmed voluntarily that he is a new Christian and that he wants to minister through music at church.
Giovanni got saved recently (Please see below) Fabian Sanchez, a Doctor , is close, along with his
mother, Enrique (Sylvia’s husband) ,Monica (Attends our End Times Classes), and so many more!
Please pray for God’s power to reign in our efforts to share the Gospel with our friends.

New Church Planted With A Strong Beginning: God has blessed us in that a former Pastor of
one of our BMM Planted Churches, and his family have joined us. It is good for brand new
Christians our unsaved people to come to a church which is not empty! Of course, there can always
be the o’l "We used to do it this way at our other church!" syndrome, which has to be corrected.
Please pray for wisdom that God may use me in the way that only He can!




Daily Opportunities to Witness and Biblically Counsel:
We were amazed at God’s power when I was counseling a couple who was living in sin. She
(Lorena) is still married to an Ecuadorian illegally living in the US. He (Giovanni) is divorced. They
have a child together. She was a back-slidden Christian. He was unsaved. What a mess! But God is
cleaning it up. He asked Christ into his heart and this is the beginning. Please pray for -again-wisdom.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

Overcrowded Church Due to Fantastic Attendence: God has definitely blessed us with great
attendance. We have a storefront which holds maximum 35 people. We are overcrowded and we
MUST move soon. This costs much more than we really have. We need a commercial location with
at least four rooms, one of which will hold at least 50 people. The going price for this is at least $500
per month. WILL you consider being a help to our growing church? We will definitely be stopped
growth-wise if we do not remedy this problem.

Remember, we started just a few months ago with 3 missionary units. This meant three times the
missionary tithes coming in to the offering plate. It is down to just Sonia and me now.

Please pray and ask God to reveal His will in this matter of support
Maybe He will use You as a much needed blessing!

UNDER SUPPORTED: We are definitely under supported still. This makes church planting
difficult! Everything costs money! From overhead transparency sheets to gasoline, from food and
clothing to paper for one’s printer: everything is way overpriced down here. And as you know we
pay for USA insurance which has gone up considerably, along with many other costs. Ecuador is
one of the most expensive countries in all of Latin America now, due to inflation.

Again, please ask God if you might be used of Him to support the spread of the Gospel here in
Ecuador.

Website Down: With the loss of other missionaries (No, I didn’t scare them away!) we were stuck
with an expensive website designed for up to 15 missionary units. An executive decision was made to
drop it. I wish to serve you with a website, but this costs money too! Perhaps someone out there
would like to design it for us with "ministry pricing". Yet another item I ask you to consider in prayer.


More Witnessing Opportunities: Please pray that God might open even more doors of
opportunity to enter people’s lives and share the eternal life giving, life changing Gospel with them.
Please pray that we might have opportunities every single day.
