Believers Remain Faithful in their Commitment to their Church
Let's face it: our absence for this extended period of time has been a
good shot in the arm to motivate and unify the believers. It was vital
that our brothers remain true to their promise to each other and to God. Their
promise included staying united to the assembly and being committed and focused
on the church plant. We are happy to report to you that the believers of
Iglesia Bautista Trinidad (Trinity Baptist) are remaining faithful to their
commitment to this fledgling work! It is exciting to hear their enthusiasm as I
speak with them on the phone, or exchange emails with them. They are now
organizing a seminar about the Christian Family. They have invited friends to this,
because they are concerned for the souls of the lost. How exciting to see them
united, learning and growing as they await the return of their pastor!

At this point we have agreed together on a transition. They are
transitioning over to meeting at the church which my brother in law Diego Pastors. He
had been filling in for me, and has done an excellent job. They will be meeting
separately as a church in my home on Thursday nights because they are
committed to remaining unified. They are continuing their men's outings, and
other fellowship and outreach ministries as a unified group. When I return,
we will continue as Iglesia Bautista Trinidad. I hope it is soon!

The Murrays Blaze the Deputation Trail
The bottom line is that we have worked very hard and have spent allot
of money in our efforts to raise the required support to be cleared to return to
the field. We have been to deputation meetings in from Maine to Illinois,
traveling many miles to share our passion to return with churches and
individuals. We have many meetings set up for the next few months. But none of this has made
us think that we will be sent back to our people by the end of March. There may
be support coming, but we have received no official word from new
supporting churches yet. Therefore I told my people that we ought to go to an
emergency plan, which is stated above.

Again, as soon as we obtain the $550 per month support we need we can
go back to the people who are waiting for us. We need to get there. Please pray
for us!

Please consider whether God would have you be part of the solution.
Whether you are an individual or a church; if you wish to support us we would be
very excited to be brought closer to our goal of returning to the field by
your efforts. This circumstance is just a bump in the road! Just a few
individuals and churches getting behind us financially will put us back on the
field very soon. You could take part in this vital ministry in this way! It would
be a shame if our people had to wait as we were withheld from ministry in
that needy nation for an extended period of time, due to the fact that we cannot
raise $550 more in monthly funds. Maybe you can be a part of the solution!

New Plan to Be Designed for Cuenca, Ecuador Field

We have lost most of our missionary partners. Some have changed fields,
some have changed mission boards, and some have left missions for various
reasons. So our plans will need a good amount of revision. Therefore, Carlene Piper
will meet Fernando and Laura Naranjo, VW and Susan Peters and Sonia and me
somewhere in the Midwest in the next 2 months in order to re-hone our plans. We
are going to move ahead in the church planting/missionary endeavor in Cuenca,
Ecuador! For me this is very exciting-and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Cause of David's Sicknesses Found
Praise the Lord! They have found why I am usually sick- and it is a
treatable, non life-threatening problem! Needless to say that I was happy when
after 12 different (And expensive!) tests they have found that I have gastritis.
They have tested every angle and have concluded that this is the problem. I
am SO thankful to God! He has use for me yet!
