Checho (Cesar) Segarra has been my friend for about 3 years. He married Lorena (Please see her page) about 2 years ago, and they have a little boy named Mateo (Matthew) . He has a firearms store...and lots of hunter friends.

He and Lorena asked Jesus into their hearts a few months ago, and they have been doing their best to have a closer walk with God. They struggle in that it seems that every time they take a step forward in their faith, the Devil serves to dishearten them. They have requested our prayers: that God may bless their marriage, and hinder Satan's attacks against them as they try to grow.

Checho has previously struggled with alcahol, and this has affected their marriage. He has dedicated himself to obedience to God in this area...he knows it is sinful and destructive! Furthermore, he wants to be a good CHristian, a good husband, and a good father.

Please pray for my good friend! He has an evident heart for God...a hunger! I praise God for the opportunity to be friends with him and serve as his Pastor. What a tremendous opportunity to impact  Cuenca for Christ-starting with families!
