Jairo
Jairo started a saving realtionship with the Lord Jesus Christ not too
long ago. He began coming to Trinidad and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was
there and through discipleship classes with Pastor Dave that he
received the call to ministry. He is now preparing to answer the call. He has
shared his faith publicly and has witnessed to his family and friends.
Please pray that God might raise him up as a mighty leader. Also please
pray for his family as they are very reluctant to hear any Gospel
presentation.

Cristian
Cristian was saved a few years ago but had never grown. He
struggled with the lack of love shown by other Christians towards him due
to his somewhat humble circumstances. He had never been baptized and
had never done anything to serve the Lord before.
He had stopped going anywhere to church.
At Trinity Baptist he claimed he felt the acceptance and love he was
missing in his life. The discipleship classes have really meant allot to
him. His spiritual life has changed and God has even used him in
service for the King.
I had the chance to Baptize him in June!
Please pray for his continued growth, and for his decision whether to
move to Loja or not.

Diego
As Cristian's brother he struggled with some of the same issues.
And he has had the same response but even more punctuated. He has grown
considerably in the Lord. And enjoys playing the guitar for the
services. He has helped his pastor in many ways like painting and visitation.
He followed the Lord Jesus Christ in Baptism months ago.
He has proved himself faithful to the Lord and to his church. He and
his mother, Marianna, and his brother Cristian are very faithful at
church.
Please pray for his continued closeness to the Lord during this his
last year of highschool.

Marco
Marco is Sylvia's brother. Pastor Dave made friends with him and
naturally witnessed to him when Marco came to him for advice and
counseling. We praise the Lord that Marco responded positively to the Gospel
message. We continue to counsel him and have a good relationship. Only
time will tell what God will do in Marco's life. We are asking God for
the most.
Please pray for Marco. He has some needs we shall not write on this
website. Please pray to the God who knows Marco well. His creator.

Paul
Sonia Murrays brother. Pastor Dave's right hand man in many
areas, Paul has agreed to accept the nomination of treasurer. He has helped
in so many areas-even protecting Pastor Dave from corrupt police
officers!
Paul is definately the most faithful in assistance at Trinidad. We
praise God for him. Please pray that he would mature spiritually. He is
drawn by the world often, and he struggles to keep his life focused on The
Word. He wants to follow Jesus every step of the way, but sometimes he
doesn't win the battle. We know God might use him in incredible ways if
he would but surrender all. Please pray that this will happen!

William
Husband of Elizabeth, father of Belen. William is a good
helper too. He is enjoying the "Fresh Bread" discipleship course. Pastor
Dave can always count on William, although he does have a constant
struggle with punctuality. He usually loses the struggle. But he is a
tremendous blessing to everyone. He is learning to witness more faithfully and
to be a good husband and father.
Please pray for the aforementioned areas.

Sebastian
Enrique and Sylvia's son, Sebastian has become good friends
with little David and the rest of the family. Little David has tried to
witness to him and Sebastian has actually prayed to accept Christ
during his young efforts. We are really glad for this! He is little by
little taking in all that God is teaching this youngster.
Please pray that he might grow spiritually as his parents do the same.

Doris and Fernando
Fernando and Pastor Dave go way back to 1990 when
Fernando was David's Judo teacher. David looked him up and their teacher
student relationship changed around. Now David teaches Fernando the
truths of God's Word and Fernando has taken allot of it in. Fernando
possibly accepted the Lord as his personal Savior in July of 2003 at David's
house during a personal conversation after the End Times Bible Study.
He remained faithful to the Bible Studies but drifted off in to the
business world after maybe six months.
Please pray for Fernando as he comes from an Eastern Religions
background. His confusion is changing to clarity as he learns the Truths of the
Word of God. Really believing costs Fernando the act of laying aside
his worldly intellegence and wisdom, surrendering his opinions to the
childlike faith which God requires for one to enter the Kingdom. And
commitment to the work requires him to release himself from at least one of
his three jobs.
Doris, Fernando's wife is a sweet companion for him and a dear friend
of all she knows. She accepted the Lord Jesus as her one and only Savior
during the same month which Fernando did. Since then she has witnessed
to her Jehovah's Witness mother, and others. She has desired to grow,
but at first Fernando's lack of belief hindered her from attending
discipleship classes. She did the lessons herself, but lost desire after a
time. Now she is pursuing her Master's degree in accounting as she
continues her full time job in that same field.
Please pray for our dear friends Fernando and Doris. We know that the
Lord is NOT done with them yet. And He never will be.

Elizabeth
William's wife, she is seen here holding their precious
baby, Daniela Belen. She has re-committed her life to the Lord and is
growing in grace as a new mother and wife. I would ask you to pray for her
and her family (William and Daniela Belen) as often as possible.
I pray that God will raise them up as Godly leaders in our church.

Veronica
|
Jairo's fiance', she is making her way down the path to
dedicating her life completely to the Lord. She and Jairo had been coming to
our house two times per week, as I was discipling them. Now Jairo is
going to lead the Wednesday night discipleship classes. And she will
assist him. They have just finished a pre-marital course at "La Fe" (Faith
Baptist of Cuenca)

Mr. Pacheco
|
Sylvia's Father, he has been very faithful in our End Times
Bible Studies. Sylvia and Enrique had initially invited him, and we had
been on day trips and barbecues together on various occassions. We
believe that he may be a very new believer, as he prayed with us to accept
the Lord Jesus as his Savior during one of our studies. I am excited to
imagine what God is going to do through him. By the way: He just
reunited with his wife a few months ago. They had been divorced for more
years than you might imagine.

Sonia Patino
Sonia is a believer who has had a long journey already in
the faith. She had accepted the Lord years ago, and actually worked and
lived in Israel. She knows allot about the Scriptures. And we are
working on the application aspect. Our discipleship classes have been very
helpful in bringing the book knowledge down to everyday living.
Please pray with us that she might commit her life wholeheartedly to her loving
Savior.

Mariana
|
Mother of Cristian and Diego, she has been an "on again, off
again" Christian for years. Having a Doctrinally weak Background, and a
son who ministers in a doctrinally weak church, discipleship classes and
sound biblical teaching has been a tremendous learning experience for
her. It has trickled down to the point that it is strating to change her
life!
